OVERHEAD CRANE

Overhead cranes move along the tracks laid out on a column and are used for moving heavy loads. Some properties are:

Lifting speed ranges between 2 and 20 megatons per minute
Bridge movement speed ranges between 2 and 40 megatons per minute

The Occupational Safety and Health Regulation published in the 14765 Official Gazette of January 11, 1974 as part of the 1475 Labor Law makes the periodical maintenance of Lifting Machinery mandatory.

It is required to have cranes, described as heavy machinery, examined by experts regularly and keep record of these examinations so that the cranes can continue to operate safely.
